Margin Plus for Odin Users

Swastika is pleased to inform you all that from 14th Mar 2016 onwards you can get 10-15 times default margin limit in Derivative segment (EQ & CURRENCY Derv) and 35-40 Times Exposure limit in Equity Segment on Odin with “Margin Plus” product (Based on Compulsory Stop-loss & Timer based auto-square-off feature). Kindly place orders with “Margin Plus” product type as showing below for availing this facility:


  • Maximum Exposure availed by clients depending on Stop-loss range selected by them, lesser the stop-loss range higher will be the exposure.
  • Users cannot place pending orders for profit booking with Margin Plus, as positions can be squared off by converting SL order into RL order at Market rates.
  • All positions taken with “Margin Plus” product will be squared off automatically before 20 minutes of market closing (If remains open in the respective segment).
  • There will be a cap concerned with maximum allowed exposure for every single client in Margin Plus product.


Margin Limit Setting in Derivative segment for various products effective from Mar 14 2016:

  • Carry Forward = 1x
  • Intraday = 5x
  • Margin Plus = 10-15x depending on stop-loss range selected by user

Margin Plus Orders can be placed only in selected shares of Equity & Derivative Segment, please find the attached sheet for your reference. Swastika Reserves the right to change the above list at any time in general or in particular case.
Please square off all your open Intraday positions (Placed with “Margin Plus” Product) before 20 minutes of market closing, we shall attempt to close the Intraday positions that are still open after the above time respectively, but we cannot guarantee complete Square off. In view of the above, we cannot be held responsible for any losses arising from the Intraday Margin positions that could not be squared off by the end of the day.
