Record Highs Amid Robust Domestic Liquidity

Santosh Meena, the head of research at Swastika Investmart Ltd, highlighted that one of the key developments this year has been the robust domestic liquidity, which is largely attributed to record inflows into the mutual fund industry. He noted that despite facing selling pressure from foreign institutional investors (FIIs), the Indian equity markets reached record highs and delivered solid gains. Additionally, he mentioned that the midcap and smallcap indices outperformed, resulting in several stocks becoming multibaggers and rewarding retail investors significantly.
